Sugar Cookies- Sherrel Geilmann

ingredients:
3/4 C butter
1 C sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour

Cream together butter, eggs and sugar. Add baking powder, salt, vanilla and flour. Let cool overnight and when chilled roll dough out to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired shape and bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool to room temperature and frost with your favorite homemade frosting.

Tip: I usually double this recipe.
